The 80th Anniversary group is built upon Super Record mechanical and has a different
finish, in addition to individually numbered components. Vincenzo Nibali proved the
group’s road-worthiness during his Giro d’Italia victory this past May. It comes in a
suitcase-style display to look equally as impressive off the bike.
Many former professional riders were on hand for Campy’s 80th Anniversary celebration,
including Eddy Merckx, Felice Gimondi, Greg LeMond, Miguel Indurain, Francesco Moser,
Andy Hampsten (left), and many more. The entire group accounted for over 30 Grand Tour
victories, including American Andy Hampsten’s 1988 Giro win.
